Bullshit politics in Germany in the public media

Germany has a strange television and radio system. There is a huge amount of state controlled television and radio stations available. There are two nation wide radio stations (ARD, ZDF) and each state has at least one television and radio station. Bavaria has for instance several television stations and additional stations for each substate, which is equally true for the radio stations.

Recently these television stations extended their reach into the web. And we got news, tv series in the web.

Sounds nice.
It is nice.
Wait. No. It's not.

Where does the money come from? Of course from the taxpayer. And from 2011 each household in Germany should pay 17 Euros for that. Wow. That's a simple model. And - of course - the 17 Euros are demanded by the chiefs of the radio and tv stations themselves.

That's bureaucracy at its best.

For what?

For:
Stupid television series,
damn stupid cooking series,
superstupid radio stations,
ultrastupid radio moderations.

Additionally this state controlled radio and television business kills innovation by annihilating the private sector.

If you want to watch something you should have the possibility to pay for it (via pay per view of advertisements).

BUT I DO NOT WANT TO BE FORCED TO PAY FOR STUFF I DO NOT WANT TO WATCH. AND NO - I DO NOT EVEN HAVE A TV. KILL THAT MONSTER.
